“Thank you Uzma, for making me look and feel amazing on my wedding day!”
With a flawless artistic reputation of nearly two decades, Uzma and her quick strokes were at it again last weekend with the beautiful Geeta on her wedding reception day. Booking without a trial is no new thing for Uzma, as many of her clients trust her experience and artistic flair to create something spectacular. Uzma is not only an international educator but she is also a Multi Award Winning Make-up Artist and her skill sets lets her create and enhance the features of her bridal clientele without taking away their natural beauty in order to make them look the best they ever can. Pictures can also be deceiving but if you were to see Uzma’s work upfront, her make-up is not caked on and she never applies too much of any product. It is pure perfection.
Geeta has a beautiful base to work with but she has very bad acne scarring on both her cheeks and as most brides also had dark circles from long days and not enough rest. However she still had good supple skin which is great in order to create a good base. I observe my clients skin condition and prepare and apply products that work for them, i do not have a set routine that I do for all my clients. Each client in an individual with a separate set of needs.
“Geeta had already moisturised 20 minutes before we started so her skin didn’t require anything further, I primed her acne scarring with the new Smoke and Rouge skin perfector (not released yet) to help seal the scarring and avoid too much interference with the foundation. I then applied a little POREFECTION by BENEFIT on her nose and sides of her nose to cover her open pores (not that she had many). I used Sculpt Beauty’s HD Prep & Prime in Pink, under her eyes and around her lips to defuse the darkness, and then used a little of the green on a few of her scene scarring which were quite red. This product is amazing as it has the right amount of pigment to defuse the colour you wish it to, but not too much that it will completely change the undertone of the foundation. Plus it is so lightweight yet offers a brilliant coverage. I then mixed foundations MAC Studio Sculpt in NW15 & NC50 as an overall foundation, I also added Estee lauder’s max cover foundation for a little extra coverage. If I were to add the max cover foundation to the whole face, it would have dried out her face. Contouring was done using Sculpt Beauty’s HD Flawless Contour Quad. I love this product because it is pigmented, he perfect consistency, light weight and a little bit goes a long way. I have listed the other products I used below”
